Composed by perfumer Gilles Romey in 1998, Rocabar is inspired by the equestrian world. A contraction of the English word ‘rug’ and the French words ‘à barres’ (meaning ‘striped’), its name alludes to the traditional horse blanket in saffron-coloured wool with red and blue stripes manufactured in the Hermès workshops. Olfactory Notes: With a woody, amber character, Rocabar Eau de Toilette for men combines the warm notes of cedar with lively cypress and enveloping, balmy benzoin.
